We are thrilled to announce that Student B has been admitted to Yale University through Restrictive Early Action (REA) , majoring in Economics.🎉🎉
Yale University needs no introduction.
A global leader in academics, intellectual tradition, and civic responsibility, Yale is not a school one simply “dreams of from afar.” Admission is about being seen, recognized, and chosen.
From my very first in-depth conversation with B, I nearly said out loud:

During a brainstorming session about how to support communities affected by leprosy,
B’s eyes lit up immediately.

She quickly:
• Took the initiative to contact international organizations, including the WHO
• Identified leprosy survivor communities across multiple regions in China
• Organized art exhibitions to raise funds for public welfare
In the summer of 11th grade, she traveled alone to the Daliang Mountains in China,
where she helped establish a small library for the children of leprosy survivors and delivered tangible support.

She later explained that concepts she had only half understood before suddenly made complete sense.
She said, “I’ve never taken a class this good in my life.”
Her SAT score eventually rose to 1560.
But more importantly, her innate love of learning and intellectual curiosity never wavered.
