We had our May Crowning today, and the children lovingly adorned Mary with flowers.

Hail Mary, pray for us. Holy Mary, Mother of God, pray for us.

Even though the wet ground kept us indoors for Earth Day, we still had a wonderful time celebrating God’s beautiful creation! 🌎

Our preschoolers enjoyed hearing the story of creation from the book of Genesis, and after the story, they had a special snack to help bring it to life—pretzel sticks for the trees, goldfish for the sea, animal crackers for the animals on Earth, marshmallows for the clouds, M&M’s for the rocks, gummy worms for the creatures that crawl, and a Hershey Kiss to remind us of God’s love.

What a sweet and meaningful way to remember that God created the world and saw that “it is good.” We had so much fun celebrating Earth Day together!

With possible rain on Earth Day, we released our butterflies a little early. They were ready to spread their wings, and the kids loved watching them fly off! 🦋🌎

What a wonderful week celebrating our amazing community helpers! ❤️

We kicked things off with Ms. Roz, our religion teacher, who taught us about the important roles of teachers, priests, and nuns. Tuesday was an Air Force Flight Medic visit, Wednesday we learned from a Katy police officer, and Thursday we heard from Katy Chomper’s dentist.

We wrapped up the week with Mr. Lane, a hotel manager, who shared about an exciting new hotel coming soon The Greenleigh!

So grateful for all the helpers who make a difference every day! 🙌

Our butterflies are finally coming out — such a beautiful reminder of God’s handiwork and His blessings all around us. 🦋

In religion today we prepared our hearts for the death of Jesus, we reflected on His love and sacrifice. Today we remembered the beautiful words spoken to Him on the cross: Jesus, remember me when you come into your kingdom.

Today in religion class, Ms. Roslyn taught the children about the last supper. What a meaningful lesson about faith and love.

We had the BEST time celebrating Go Western Day!

Ms. Dolores and Ms Sharon gathered everyone around the “campfire” to tell stories about Texas, Texas. What do you see and sing ”deep in the heart of Texas”. They made beautiful bluebonnets and had so much fun line dancing.

It was a rootin’ tootin’ day full of Western fun
