FIGHT NIGHT! Kathy Long Coaches Kickboxers

I was proud to fly out my teacher, 5X World Champion Kathy Long, to work with our students, fighters, and coaches.

Throughout the event, Kathy shared high-level insights into timing, ring control, counter fighting, defensive structure, pressure, and real fight strategy.

Also featured are Muay Thai Champion Kisanet - who recently took home a championship belt along Kickboxer Coach Zakir — a student of Sifu Jacob— putting in rounds, sharpening skills, and continuing the journey through martial arts.

A great night of learning, growth, teamwork, and warrior spirit. 🥊

Honored to stand with giants.
Pictured here with Sigung Great Grandmaster Lam Jo, my Sifu Grandmaster Y.C. Wong, and Dai Si Hing Thomas Low at the Wong Fei Hung Temple in Guangdong, China — 2007.

Sigung Great Grandmaster Lam Jo carried forward Wong Fei Hung’s traditions, preserving and embodying the Hung Gar system as it was passed down through Lam Sai Wing. Through a lifetime of dedication, he became one of the greatest living links to this remarkable lineage and helped preserve these teachings for many future generations.

My Sifu, Grandmaster Y.C. Wong, brought that tradition across oceans and passed it on with tremendous depth, discipline, and generosity. His teaching preserved not only the movements of Hung Gar, but also the values, spirit, and culture behind the art—helping spread this tradition to students around the entire world.

A special moment in time I will always treasure. Standing beside them in that temple, I felt like an ant looking up at giants—deeply humbled to be in the presence of men who dedicated their lives to preserving and carrying this remarkable lineage forward.

Kathy Long’s Snake Through & Snake Under | Muay Thai Clinch Destruction

This footage is dedicated to my mentor, legendary fighter Kathy Long (Sifu Kat), 5X World Champion.

In preserving her techniques and helping pass forward the knowledge she shared with me, I wanted to share one of her uncanny clinch methods: Snake Through & Snake Under.

If you’ve ever been tied up in the clinch and felt like you were getting thrown around like a rag doll, this is a powerful reminder that position, timing, and structure matter.

Learn how to hold your ground, escape pressure, and begin to dominate one of the most important positions in Muay Thai.

The clinch is all about balance, posture, leverage, and control—and knowing how to navigate this range can completely change the fight.

Here, legendary fighter and master Kathy Long breaks down her unique clinch techniques and shares the details behind her movement. 🥊🐍

🇵🇭⚔️ Atillo Balintawak Arnis Eskrima | The Great Visayan Warrior Lineage ⚔️🇵🇭

I spent many, many years—four to five days a week—studying privately under my mentor, Great Grandmaster Crispulo “Ising” Atillo.

To say it has been an honor would be an understatement.

Today, we are proudly finishing his final book together.

In many ways, GGM Atillo truly represents the last of a dying breed of Visayan warriors—men forged in a different time, whose martial arts were tested under real pressure and preserved through hard-earned experience. He competed in four death matches and carries a lifetime of knowledge from one of the deepest lineages of Filipino martial arts.

Born in 1938 in Mambaling, Cebu City, Philippines, GGM Atillo is the oldest and last remaining member of the Original Balintawak Self Defense Club, established in 1952.

Raised in Cebu—the heartland of Eskrima—he trained under some of the greatest eskrimadors in Filipino martial arts history and has spent over 76 years honing, preserving, and evolving his remarkable style.

His father, Vincent Atillo, was a champion wrestler, eskrimador, and a respected guerrilla fighter during World War II who served with the United States Armed Forces in the Far East as part of the 85th Infantry Combat Division.

His godfather, Delphine Lopez, was also a WWII guerrilla and champion boxer—a feared and respected eskrimador throughout the Philippines.

GGM Atillo’s upbringing—forged through war and shaped by the finest warriors of Cebu—produced a ruthlessly efficient and highly refined system of close-quarters combat.

His teachings emphasize subtle manipulations:
a tap… a feint… a shift in rhythm… a change in eye-line.

That brief distraction redirects the opponent’s focus for just a split second—

and in that opening comes the clean, controlled, and decisive disarm.

Over the decades, Great Grandmaster Atillo has trained members of the Philippine Military, U.S. Special Forces, and martial artists from around the world.

Today, for the first time here, we proudly present the Master Work & Master Class of Atillo Balintawak — World Arnis–Eskrima Original (Saavedra Style).

Mabuhay! 🇵🇭

Long Live Atillo Balintawak.
Long Live the warriors of Cebu.
Long live the great Visayan Filipino Martial Arts lineage.

🇹🇭 Saenchai’s Untouchable Dash Sweep | Muay Thai Legend

Saenchai is widely regarded as one of the greatest Muay Thai fighters of all time — a true master of timing, rhythm, deception, and balance manipulation.

I had the opportunity to train with him in 2019, and again more recently. Watching him move in person is something entirely different. His ability to enter, disrupt structure, and off-balance opponents happens so fast it almost feels unreal.

In this clip, Saenchai explodes forward with a sudden dash entry, crashing through the guard, manipulating posture and balance before launching into a beautiful sweep.

What makes it so dangerous is not brute force — it’s timing, angle, sensitivity, and understanding of weight distribution.

A perfect example of high-level Muay Thai clinch mastery from a living legend.
