With rain in the forecast, we’d like to take a moment to review our inclement weather dismissal procedures to ensure a smooth and safe process for everyone.

⚡️Due to the unpredictable nature of weather, we typically make the decision to implement inclement weather dismissal approximately 20-30 minutes before dismissal time. Lightning and moderate to heavy rain automatically trigger an inclement weather dismissal.

Here’s what you need to know:
⛈️Inclement Weather Dismissal:
In the event of lightning or moderate to heavy rain, all walkers will be switched to car riders. Car riders and bus riders will be dismissed as usual.

🔔 Notification:
If rainy-day dismissal is called, we will notify you via ParentSquare and a Facebook post 20-30 minutes before dismissal.

☎️ Transportation Changes:
If you prefer that your student not walk in light rain, please contact the front office by 2:00 PM to update their transportation arrangements for the day.

🚘 Car Line Delays:
Wet weather often results in longer car lines, so we kindly ask for your patience as we work to load our Timberwolves safely. Please ensure that your car tag is displayed prominently from the rear view mirror to ensure an efficient process for everyone.

Our 5th graders explored matter and circuits in the science lab, first grade learned about sentence structure while practicing routines, and second grade was busy learning about number lines in math and American history.
