“Every black belt was once the child learning where to place their feet. Greatness doesn’t begin with medals—it begins with showing up, one practice at a time. 🥋”

A belt is earned in moments no one sees.

Every practice. Every fall. Every lesson. Every time an athlete chose to return to the mat.

Tonight we celebrated more than new ranks—we celebrated perseverance, discipline, and growth.

Congratulations to everyone who took the next step in their journey. The color of your belt has changed, but the commitment remains the same.

The journey continues.

Happy Father’s Day to all the dads, grandfathers, stepfathers, and father figures in our HTX Judo family!

Thank you for the rides to practice, the long weekends at tournaments, the words of encouragement after tough losses, and the example you set every day through hard work, discipline, and perseverance.

Judo teaches us respect, courage, self-control, and resilience—but for many of our athletes, those lessons begin at home with Dad.

Today we celebrate the men who help shape not only better athletes, but better people.

From all of us at HTX Judo, Happy Father’s Day! 🥋❤️
