It’s back! Sign up your Lion to earn a free personal pan this summer by logging their reading. Don’t forget to add the same minutes into our Jammin’ into Stories Beanstack Challenges!

Our Fort Bend County Library is offering a great way to keep our Lindsey Lions reading all summer! You can complete their reading program in conjunction with our LCISD Summer Reads Beanstack Challenge and triple your chances to earn prizes!

Get ready to Unearth A Story this summer! 🦕📖 Registration for the Fort Bend County Libraries’ 2026 Summer Reading Challenge opens on May 25.

Here are the important details you need to know:

📅 Registration: May 25 - August 31
☀️ Challenge Dates: June 1 - August 31
👨‍👩‍👧‍👦 Who can join: Everyone! The challenge is completely free and open to all ages, regardless of county residence.
💻 How to sign up: Register at any FBCL location, online at http://fortbend.beanstack.org/, or by downloading the free Beanstack Tracker app.
🎁 Prizes: Log your reading to earn rewards starting June 1! Plus, youth and middle-grade readers who complete the challenge will be entered to win one of 11 bicycles generously donated by CYCLEHouston.org.
🎉 Fun Activities: Complementary library events for kids and teens kick off the week of June 1. Check our online calendar to see what is happening at your local branch!

Our kindergarten students were delighted to transfer their green bean plants, which were grown from seeds, to the outdoor planters today. We will be watching, watering and weeding as they grow!
