Hi, I am Joan Sherry, I am excited to join Creative Stars Academy as the Director in Kasson.
A bit about my family: I was raised in the area and have lived most of my life in Rochester. I had 2 awesome sons, sadly my oldest was killed in an accident when he was 22. My youngest son lives a few hours away with 4 children. I love spending time with and spoiling my grandchildren! I am married to a wonderful man and we enjoy traveling, riding motorcycle, and attending live music events.
I have 25 years’ experience in Montessori Education (Toddler thru Middle School). Beginning as a teacher and eventually as the Director of Business Operations and Assistant Head of School. After that I worked as an administrative assistant for about 3 years, and realized that I needed to work at something that I really enjoyed and where I could contribute in helping families.
This position is really appealing to me because of the challenge of a new beginning for CSA. I love that we can nurture the children in a Christ centered environment, and can positively impact the families in the Kasson area.
I am looking forward to working together with the CSA Leadership Team, CSA Children & Families, and the Community of Kasson!
