Weekly Recap! We learned the letter Y and number 5. Pet Day was one of our favorite days this year. Each student talked about their pet(s) and we had a special visitor, Shorty, that stayed with us all day. Shorty had so much fun that he fell asleep as soon as school was over. Pastor Vicki taught us about the Last Supper & started the Easter story.

Weekly Recap! We celebrated St. Patrick's Day & a leprechaun came! He made a mess but left gold coins for us to find. Miss Melanie came & taught us about St. Patrick's Day. We learned the letter V and the 5 senses. In chapel, we're getting ready for Easter & had a palm parade. We were excited for the 1st day of spring, so we learned all about the season.

Today we had our St. Patrick's Day party! We played games, danced like a leprechaun, ate a green & rainbow snack and read a book about how to trap a leprechaun. After the story, we paired up to make leprechaun traps. We can't wait to go back to school to see if we caught one!

Weekly Recap! This week we learned all about the letter W and number 4. We talked about our feelings and how when we're angry it's like we spew lava. Pastor Vicki taught us how Jesus calmed the storm. A student has a new pet & she introduced her to us. This prompted us to have Pet Day in a few weeks. We also started getting ready for St. Patrick's Day.

Hat Day! "The Cat in the Hat" was our book for the day & we wore our favorite hats. We finished learning about the letter Z & number 3. We joined the local coloring contest & coloring on the floor was a fun change. We had a few extra minutes at the end of the day for a game of musical chairs!
