Something fun is coming to Kansas, Oklahoma and Delaware County and surrounding areas! Whether you seek classes or summer fun for your second grader through eighth graders:

One and done classes
A series of 4 week once a week fun academics
Once or Twice a week Tutoring over 4 weeks
1:1 Tutoring for Math, Science, and Reading with an experienced teacher
Small Group Tutoring for Math
Just for Fun classes, too
(Or Visiting Grandma Break classes)

We’ve got you covered . Registration opens Monday, May 4th. Only 8-10 people per class( 2 teachers) and 6 for Friday Friends. Tutoring small groups limited to 4. Certified teacher and paraprofessional who specialize on hands-on-learning fun!

Classes will be held at Flint Ridge Resort as an independent offering of Everything Easier with Sweetie llc dba Sweetie School’s On to Grow On Series( our 24th year)

This is not about choosing technology or using none at all. It is about protecting the balance that keeps reading and writing strong. We need both.

A small but groundbreaking study from the Norwegian University of Science and Technology used advanced 256-electrode EEG nets to peek inside our brains while writing. They found when you write words by hand, brain regions light up in elaborate patterns--- connecting visual, motor, and sensory inputs in a symphony of engagement. But when you type those very same words, reaction in these vital areas is more minimal. The physical act of forming letters—feeling the pen, applying pressure, seeing thoughts emerge into unique shapes you create—demands a complex sensorimotor experience that deeply engages your brain, enhancing learning, memory, and even fine motor skills in ways simple key presses just can't replicate.

Do you have fourth through eighth graders who want to do fun things this summer but need help with math and reading? One to Grow On Classes teach skills through fun, hands-on experiences. Learning isn’t supposed to be dull or driven by paper pencil tasks. We create, build, measure, math, write and do projects that make math and reading learning a part of successful creating.

Hello!
I’m Sweetie Berry, a certified teacher new to Kansas Oklahoma last fall. Les and I love our new hometown. Happy to announce we will offer summer classes for creating and learning for 4th through 8th graders this summer. Some classes are one day offerings, others 2-5 days. Perfect for visiting family too! Hosted at Flint Ridge Resort and a few at nearby area locations.

We will also have special days for Reading, Math and Writing classes to strengthen learners’ skills in engaging ways! ( for gifted as well as learning disabled learners too) We plan for small group ( up to 12) and individual class offerings. Two adults with background checks present as teachers in each class.

Scholarships will be offered too.

Need an experience for your learner with autism? We’ve got you covered for afternoon respites several weeks this summer. Experienced!

We will publish the class offerings on May 4 when registration begins! I’m a new to Kansas resident ( certified math teacher and Special Education Director at Moseley this year) excited to do summer programming in our new town! ( this is my 40th year )
