We were proud to accept our Tier 3 Recognition award for Positive Behavior Support at Lakewood Elementary NKC in the last few weeks, which we have now earned multiple years in a row. Next stop, extending this tradition and honor on to Greenway Elementary NKC!

That’s a wrap on our final era, Lakewood’s version! We had an incredible last few weeks as and wrapped up today with the 5th grade walk and lots of 🐆 leopard swag 🐆 for all students at dismissal to remember our school.

We also celebrated our final awards assembly today ! Our students have so much growth to celebrate this year. 🥳🎉

Today our top fundraiser earners for this year got to paint the principal, creating art for our new school! 🎨

🐆🦖☃️🐅You never know who may pop up at to make an appearance the last week of school in our final era. We have lots of fun special celebrations planned for our bonus days this week! 🏴‍☠️🐑🎃🐸🏃🏾

🐆Tonight we celebrated the last 5th grade class to graduate from ! Because their original school is no longer standing, a special request was made by a 5th grade student to have their recognition ceremony , and to honor the resiliency and adaptability of this group over the last 6 years, we of course said yes! Congratulations, 5th graders- we will miss you, come back to visit us ! 🐆

☀️Today was our final Lakewood field day! Our students look forward to this day each year. The weather was beautiful; community connections and memories were made! Thanks to Coach Cruse, family, and NKCHS AVID volunteers for making it happen for our students. ☀️
