Sterling and Landon showed up a day early because they couldn't contain their excitement. 😂

Today we celebrate three remarkable board members whose influence reaches far beyond the schools and communities they serve.

Thank you for your years of service, your steadfast leadership, and your belief in the power of work-based learning. Through your guidance, support, and willingness to create opportunities for students, you have helped shape who we are today.

Whether leading some of our community’s largest school districts, serving as our Board Vice President, or being one of our fiercest advocates since our earliest days, each of you has left a lasting mark on our organization and the students we serve. Your encouragement, partnership, and commitment have made a difference in ways that will continue to be felt for years to come.

Congratulations on this next chapter, and thank you for everything. You will always be a part of our story. 💙

This season brings change, but it also brings an opportunity to reflect on the people who make our organization special.
As we say farewell to valued leaders, we’re reminded that the strength of our organization has always been the people who show up each day with passion, purpose, and a commitment to serving others.
We are grateful for every staff member, past and present, who has poured their time, talents, and heart into serving our associates and community. The relationships built here, the lives impacted, and the memories created will always be part of our story.
As we look ahead, we do so with gratitude for those who helped shape our journey and excitement for all that is still to come. ❤️

Finally, We are proud to recognize Liberty Hospital as Medicine + Healthcare's Outstanding Business Partner of the Year. 🏆

Since the very inception of the NCAPS program in 2013, Liberty Hospital has been a cornerstone of our Medicine and Healthcare strand — and this past school year is a testament to just how deep that commitment runs.

Through a year of transitions, never wavered. They provided NCAPS with a new and bigger classroom, continued delivering hands-on educational experiences, and offered internship opportunities in some of their busiest departments. Their nurse managers have gone above and beyond to ensure our Associates are observing unique procedures and real-world situations — because they believe our students deserve a full picture of what healthcare looks like.

And then there's Heather Wilkie. Heather has been a tireless advocate for our program throughout the hospital — and this semester, she took that a step further by taking on an Associate as her own intern. The mentorship she provides doesn't just shape students. It shapes the future of healthcare in our community.
Liberty Hospital — thank you for 10+ years of partnership, and for showing up for our students every single year. 💙

Over the past two years, your leadership, guidance, and commitment to our mission have made a meaningful difference in our organization.

Thank you for the time, energy, and care you’ve invested in our team, our associates, and our community. We are grateful for the support you’ve provided and the relationships you’ve built along the way.

As you begin your next chapter, we want to thank you for being part of ours. We wish you nothing but success and happiness in the future. ❤️

We are proud to recognize Two Circles as Digital Media + Technology's Outstanding Business Partner of the Year. 🏆

Formerly known as Let It Fly Media, Two Circles has been a longtime partner with Northland CAPS — and their impact on our DMT students is anything but small.
Through this partnership, NCAPS DMT students have gained real, meaningful internship experience inside a world-class organization. Two Circles doesn't just offer a seat at the table — they invest in our students and open doors to real career and industry opportunities.

And if that wasn't enough — they graciously donated Black Magic cameras to our program. 🎥

A huge thank you to Andrew, Ben, and Billy for your continued generosity, mentorship, and belief in what we are building at NCAPS. We are grateful for this partnership and excited for what's ahead.

Legos are all fun and games until you have to rebuild using someone else's blueprint. 🧱

Last year's EAM class found that out firsthand. This lesson wasn't about following instructions — it was about collaboration, communication, and figuring out how to build with people, not just beside them. Turns out those are the same skills you need on every job site, in every meeting, and on every project.

2026-27 EAM students, consider this your warning. See you in the fall. 🔧

We are proud to recognize Platte Woods Animal Hospital as an Outstanding Business Partner of the Year for their exceptional support during the launch of our Certified Veterinary Assistant certification program.

More than just a clinical site, has been a committed partner in building the foundation of our CVA program. Their willingness to collaborate, communicate openly, and invest in student development has made a meaningful impact — not only on this student's success, but on the future of veterinary education at NCAPS.

And swipe to see the intern herself, now officially certified, during her clinical hours → 🐾💙

Looking back to this past fall when our Global Business & Logistics students stepped into H&R Block and confidently engaged in conversations on one of their early site visits. That kind of confidence isn't learned from a textbook—it's built through authentic experiences with industry professionals. 💼
