Exploring Minds Academy is a high quality private learning academy located in Kansas City, Ks and is a second branch from the Colorado preschool in Erie Colorado. Our Learning Academy is run by teaching professionals with education and real world experience working with children from 6 weeks to 12 years of age. Our Owners, Pamela Piekarski and Meghan Carlile hold high level degrees in education, h

ave years of successful teaching experience in the public school system, and a wealth of early childhood knowledge. The individual classroom environments are filled with materials that are designed to encourage a child's curiosity, joy of discovery, and natural exuberance for life. This week at Exploring Minds Academy, we’re diving into our Back to School theme. 🎒✏️

Our little learners will be exploring new routines, talking about feelings and friendships, building vocabulary, and learning through songs, sensory play, movement, and hands on fun.

This week’s vocabulary words are: school, friends, learning, fun, play, and supplies.

From our “Hello” songs and backpack mystery game to conversation photos, water sensory play, and free paint, it’s going to be a fun week of learning and growing together.

We’re so excited for all the new discoveries this week brings. 💙

Tip Tuesday: Park days = friendship practice. 🛝💛

Sometimes the best way to practice making friends is simply to get out and play.

At the park, little ones get natural chances to take turns, share space, wait for the slide, and work up the courage to say, “Can I play too?”

For our Kansas City families, Pierson Park is a great nearby option with playgrounds and plenty of room to play. Waterway Park is another nice KCK spot for getting outside and enjoying some family time.

A little sunshine, a little play, and maybe a new friend along the way. 🌳💛
