Dramatic Truth Ballet Theatre Professional Neoclassical Christian Ballet Company located in Kansas City MO They both face intense hardship and ultimately learn of God's great faithfulness.

Dramatic Truth Ballet Theatre was founded in 2003 by Liz Dimmel and has toured a variety of original works both nationally and internationally, traveling to England, Hungary, Japan, Israel, New York, and throughout the Midwest. Full-length ballets in the Company’s repertoire include Masquerade, a retelling of Sleeping Beauty as the awakening of the Church as the Bride of Christ; Dethroning the Pri

nce, a powerful representation of the effects of sin and redemption; and The Mystery of Christmas, an annual production of the Nutcracker that tells the true story of Christmas. Dramatic Truth Ballet Theatre’s 2022 touring repertoire this year includes an original piece, I Remember. This story ballet follows the lives of two young women growing up in England during WWII. Other classic and contemporary works by choreographers such as Laura Morton and Liz Dimmel are also included in this year's repertoire. At our school we raise up dancers, whom not only have the highest technique, but are also inspired to use dance to connect with their Creator and the people around them. Our school offers a track for serious dancers wanting to join a professional company one day. We also have a track for recreational dancers who just love dancing and want to pursue it as a hobby.

Stained Glass Windows: Living Sanctuaries

Read a special note from our director below on the heart behind this season:

“In ancient times, stained glass windows were an essential part of the sanctuaries of many cathedrals. More than beautiful works of art, they told the story of the Gospel to everyone who entered—rich or poor, literate or illiterate, Jew or Gentile. Through vibrant colors and powerful imagery, they proclaimed God’s truth for all to see.

Today, followers of Christ are like those stained glass windows. When surrendered to the Father, His light shines through them, illuminating the Gospel for everyone they encounter. Yet believers are even more remarkable than these stunning pieces of artwork, for they are living, breathing epistles—testimonies of God’s transforming work that reveal His glory through lives changed by Christ.

As the old song says, “Lord, prepare me to be a sanctuary.” May we become living sanctuaries through whom the Light of the world shines brightly for all to see.

For we are God’s masterpiece. He has created us anew in Christ Jesus, so we can do the good things he planned for us long ago. Ephesians 2:10”

Staying Centered.
