CHOCOLATE REMINDER:
The chocolate fundraiser is still happening and it is not too late to join! We are no longer requiring prepayment for the first box of chocolate. If your student would like to participate please sign return the permission slip that was sent home last week to receive the first box. The boxes are $80 and contain 40 bars per box. Money is due by September 16th to be considered for prizes.

If you no longer have the permission slip, please email [email protected] with your name, your student's name, student's grade and teacher and acknowledge that you agree to the permission slip terms: I would like to check out 1 box of chocolate. I understand each box contains 40 items that sell for $2.00 each, I am responsible for selling the entire box, and chocolate can not be returned once it is checked out. I agree to turn in the money due ($80.00) no later than SEPTEMBER 16TH.

¡La recaudación de fondos de chocolate aún continúa y aún no es demasiado tarde para unirse! Ya no exigimos el pago por adelantado de la primera caja de chocolate. Congratulations to Kansas Teacher of the Year Nominee, Mackenzie Sipes! ❤️💛🐯

We are SO proud and grateful to celebrate Mackenzie Sipes as a nominee for Kansas Teacher of the Year!

This year marks Mackenzie’s 10th year in the Turner School District. During her time at Turner, she has spent 5 years teaching Pre-K and is now in her 5th year in Special Education, primarily serving our Kindergarten and 1st grade students.

Mackenzie’s heart for students, families, and our Turner community shines through in everything she does. When asked what she loves most about being part of Turner, she shared:

“I like the relationships I’ve made with students and families being in the district so long. I like being part of the team that welcomes families to Turner.”

We are incredibly thankful for the care, compassion, dedication, and joy Mackenzie brings to our students and families every day. She truly makes a difference, and we are so lucky to have her on our team!
