Ms. Aunie's Daycare TWO

Some of you know my story behind not being DCF eligible for my daycare. To make this story short, after almost 7 years of applying, denial letters and appeals and reaching out to the right support. I am officially able to assist "all families" in the community. We are no longer a private pay center. DCF is now accepted.

The one thing I know is that I was going to continue to fight this thing for however long it took. The people in the community deserve the quality care that they are in need off, regardless of their method of payment. We here at MsAunie's Daycare & MsAunie's Daycare TWO have that qualification.

Prayer, persistent, & push paved the way

Alrighty everybody stay at home unless you in route to the hospital. These streets are not here to play. I-70 west is shut down. It is back up due to multiple care pile up.

This mist that is falling is freezing as soon as it hits the ground, causing slipper roads. I got to the center at 5:50 am and the sheet of ice that is now on the ground is leading me to get back in the house. ASAP!

I have been told it will get worse before it gets better.

Listen. When that alarm went off at 5 am for me to return back to the daycare... I wanted to throw that phone across the room. lol. Like no alarm for 10 days...where you come from. Thank that my business belongs to me.

We were to have a simple lunch today turkey and cheese sandwich w/ chips. One of daycare babies what were we having. I told her. She said we don't got no peanut butter and jelly. Me doing the Correction: Do we have peanut butter and Jelly?
I'm saying yes and about 6 of her little buddies all joined in with... I like peanut butter Jelly and so. So if you do not have kids like this in your daycare...get rid of them. lol...Joking.

I love my babies and missed them. But definitely needed the time away.
