Thank you, Church of the Resurrection! COR has already been out many times this year supporting Quindaro with school supplies and a brunch for the staff. Today, they also came to help with disaster relief, bringing boxes and bags of food for our families. Thank you, Church of the Resurrection! We appreciate your support in our community! ❤️

KCKPS SCHOOL UPDATE | Friday, August 21

KCKPS schools and facilities will be OPEN and operating normally tomorrow, Friday, August 21, with one exception:

Welborn Elementary School will remain CLOSED until further notice.

Buses will run normal routes.

Thank you to our families and staff for your patience and flexibility. We look forward to seeing our students tomorrow!

Environmental Services and BPU crews are assessing significant damage. If you are without power, help is coming, but it could take extra time to serve everyone. Stay away from downed power lines and treat every one you see as energized. Report outages or downed lines to BPU at 913‑573‑9522

Move. Lead. Shine. This summer at AileyCamp !

AileyCamp with Kansas City Friends of Alvin Ailey offers students a summer full of movement, leadership, and confidence. Campers learn that dance is athletic, disciplined, and empowering, building strength, focus, teamwork, and skills that support success in sports, school, and life. Students will also enjoy fun social and athletic activities in a supportive environment.
