The CJC Department serves UMKC students who are interested in careers within justice fields, preparing them for leadership positions with engaging coursework and service opportunities. Our faculty are committed to developing leaders who have strong research skills, are inclusive collaborators, and can effectively blend theory into policy and practice. We offer two degree programs for students: a Bachelor of Arts or a Master of Science in Criminal Justice and Criminology.
