We are in business to give kids a space to find their spark.

It may start with an awesome work of art, a song or dance step but what really happens is we ignite a love of what they are created for.

That's a wrap. Our final Summer Spectacular was a hit yesterday. Thank you all who came to support us not only yesterday but throughout the entire time The Spark Spot has been open. I have personally enjoyed every moment watching so many of your kids shine. It has been an honor to be a small part of their lives. I hope they take these positive memories with them as they grow to remind them they have the ability to they light the world!
Artfully,
Mrs. Andi

The Summer Spectacular: Raiders of the Lost Spark | The Spark Spot 06/12/2023

Dear Spark Spot Supporters,
It is with a heavy heart that I announce that The Spark Spot Arts Education Center will be closing at the end of June. Between my health issues, the financial obligations, and the lack of interest in our programming, this decision is not easy but necessary. I have enjoyed every moment and memory created by spending time with your families and want to thank you for allowing me to be a small part of your life.
As for our summer camps, unfortunately, since I have had to take on a full-time position during the day to make ends meet and have not been able to successfully find the right team to lead these camps as I had hoped, all of our summer camps will be cancelled, and everyone will be refunded.
This is not all bad news though. I have partnered with Camp Fire Heartland and versions of The Spark Spot will live on through programming with this amazing organization. Be sure to check out how similar their mission is to The Spark Spot. It is truly a match.
Our weeks will be filled with great memories to assure we close out in style. Each one of our class sessions will end in the next few weeks followed by our Summer Spectacular on June 24th. Please be sure to join us at 1pm on the 24th to help cheer on these amazing performers. You can get your tickets going to https://www.sparkspotarts.com/event-details/the-summer-spectacular-raiders-of-the-lost-spark

I do want to also invite each of your kiddos to join us for one last Parent’s Night Out on Saturday, June 17th 6PM-9PM. You will find all of the information by clicking https://www.sparkspotarts.com/event-details/last-hurrah-parents-night-out

Thank you for your support and passion. You have been a huge part in making The Spark Spot so special, even in this short time.

Artfully,

Andi Gilbertson

Come stop by our parking lot today to support some local kid entrepreneurs! There are kid mad candles, soaps, birdhouses, sun catchers made from beads, coloring books, jewelry and more! And the best part is they are learning about business. We love supporting great minds at work!

Here is some knowledge Spark has learned. Since Mondays are perfect for a bit of motivation, we thought we would share!

Happy Easter! Check out a few Easter Bonnets made at last night's event worn by a few silly bunnies.

We absolutely agree!

Today’s Motivational Monday Quote is from Keith Allen Haring. He was an American artist whose pop art emerged from the New York City graffiti subculture of the 1980s. His animated imagery has "become a widely recognized visual language".
