On March 10, KCPS hosted a community meeting regarding the reuse of the Pershing school site. The public and members of the community are invited to view the three proposal presentations, review meeting notes/Q&A, and provide feedback to the district.

The murals that last year's KCAI Illustration juniors created for the shuttered Pershing School are being installed! Installation started on Monday and will continue through Tuesday. Come see how art can transform a shuttered school building into a visual landmark for the community!

It has been three years in the making, but the Pershing murals are finally finished!
We can't wait to see them installed at the Pershing school, bringing a little more color to the Blue Hills Neighborhood. Thank you to everyone who has supported us through this project!
