Last Thursday marked the final day of school for our students, and what better way to celebrate than with an exciting Field Day! ☀️🎉

From games and activities to laughter and friendly competition, our students had an amazing time making memories with their classmates and teachers. 💙🏃‍♂️🏃‍♀️

¡El pasado jueves fue el último día de clases para nuestros estudiantes, y qué mejor manera de celebrarlo que con un emocionante Día de Campo! ☀️🎉

Desde juegos y actividades hasta risas y competencias amistosas, nuestros estudiantes disfrutaron muchísimo creando recuerdos junto a sus compañeros y maestros. 💙🏃‍♂️🏃‍♀️

Before the school year ended, FSHS and FSE students participated in interviews for the Urban Construction Pre-Apprenticeship Program — a paid summer opportunity connecting students to construction training, certifications, and career pathways. 🔨🎓

Students met with community, workforce, and industry leaders who helped assess readiness and support the next step toward employment and apprenticeship opportunities in construction. 💼🏗️

We are proud of our students for taking meaningful steps toward their future careers! 👏

Antes de que terminara el año escolar, estudiantes de FSHS y FSE participaron en entrevistas para el Programa de Preaprendizaje en Construcción Urbana, una oportunidad de verano pagada que conecta a los estudiantes con capacitación, certificaciones y oportunidades profesionales en el área de construcción. 🔨🎓

Los estudiantes se reunieron con líderes comunitarios, laborales y de la industria que ayudaron a evaluar su preparación y apoyar el siguiente paso hacia oportunidades de empleo y aprendizaje en construcción. 💼🏗️

¡Estamos muy orgullosos de nuestros estudiantes por dar pasos importantes hacia sus futuras carreras! 👏

This Memorial Day, Frontier Schools honors and remembers the brave men and women who made the ultimate sacrifice in service to our country. 🇺🇸

As a school community, we are grateful for their courage, dedication, and commitment to protecting the freedoms we enjoy every day. We hope our students, staff, and families take time to reflect, remember, and honor those who served. ❤️

Frontier Schools will be closed on Monday, May 25, in observance of Memorial Day. 🇺🇸

We are saddened by the passing of Cynthia Newsome, a beloved longtime KSHB 41 television news anchor and dedicated community advocate in Kansas City.

We were honored to welcome her to Frontier Schools in 2017, where she connected with and inspired our students. Her kindness, leadership, and lasting impact on our community will be remembered.
