Alfonso Jones is a sweet teenage musician, killed by an off duty cop.

We learn their stories & their names. We watch Alfonso’s family deal with the grief & the fight for justice.

It shows the REAL impact that systemic discrimination has: survival is hard, but success is even harder.

I Am Alfonso Jones doesn't just capture the horrors of our present-day racial tensions, of the violence that has spawn Black Lives Matter. It's also a history lesson as Alfonso meets victims of police violence dating back well over a century. Talking to children about racial violence in this country feels like an impossible task, but this book is a good place to start.

A quick, although heavy read. The characters are quirky & real. Perfect for people who like history, YA, graphic novels, & want to learn more about the realities of racial discrimination.

We are starting production on S2 of Full Body Chills and are looking for awesome freelance fiction writers (who specialize in spooky) to submit scary, short stories for a chance to be featured on the podcast.

To help shape your writing, think old fashioned campfire stories! We are looking for stories that ideally can be told by one narrator with minimal back and forth narration, and each story should be around 2000-4000 words in length.

To submit your story for consideration, please email it to [email protected] by May 30th — if your story is a good fit we will reach out to you to discuss terms and purchasing (no story will be used without your written consent).

I can’t wait to read your stories and have you guys involved in our next project!
