Chloe Roberts , happy 27th birthday! I am beyond proud of you!

As I think about the woman you have become, four words come to mind:

Depth. There is a depth to you—in how you think, how you feel, how you see people, and how you engage with life. You don’t live on the surface.

Competence. You are incredibly capable. You step into things, figure them out, work hard, and somehow make difficult things look easier than they are.

Love. You love deeply. You care about people, you are loyal to the people in your life, and you have a beautiful ability to make others feel seen and valued.

Leadership. You carry a natural strength that people trust. You lead without needing to be the center of attention, and you make the people around you better.

Chloe, watching you become the woman you are today has been one of the great joys of my life. I love who you are, I love who you are becoming, and I could not be more proud to be your dad.

Happy 27th birthday, Chloe. I love you more than you know. ❤️

How do you stay passionate for God for decades, not just months?

For me, it starts with staying hungry to know who He is, not simply serving Him. I want to keep growing in the knowledge of God, protecting that hunger and removing the distractions that compete for my attention.

My hope is that decades from now, I’ll still open my Bible and be moved by who He is.

I want knowing God to be the pursuit of my life!

Como permanecer apaixonado por Deus por décadas, e não apenas por alguns meses?

Para mim, começa com permanecer faminto por conhecê-Lo, e não apenas por servi-Lo. Quero continuar crescendo no conhecimento de Deus, protegendo essa fome e removendo as distrações que competem pela minha atenção.

Minha esperança é que, daqui a décadas, eu ainda possa abrir minha Bíblia e me emocionar por quem Ele é.

Quero que conhecer a Deus seja a busca da minha vida!

A missão importa. O chamado importa. Existem estações que exigem foco profundo e sacrifício.

Mas uma coisa que estou aprendendo é: a missão nunca deveria roubar a alegria da jornada.

As pessoas ao seu redor importam. O lugar onde Deus te plantou importa. Não perca a vida que está acontecendo enquanto você tenta cumprir a missão.

Mission matters. Calling matters. There will be seasons that require deep focus and sacrifice.

But one thing I’m learning is this: the mission was never meant to steal the joy of the journey.

The people around you matter. The place where God has planted you matters. Don’t miss the life happening while you’re trying to fulfill the assignment.

Uma das grandes perguntas da vida cristã não é apenas como começamos, mas o que nos sustenta fiéis ao longo do tempo.

Toda geração enfrentará pressão, decepções, incertezas e tempos de prova. A questão não é se esses momentos virão, mas qual fundamento foi formado dentro de nós antes que eles cheguem.

O objetivo não é apenas sobreviver às estações difíceis, mas permanecer em profunda comunhão com o Pai em meio a todas elas.

One of the great questions of the Christian life is not simply how we begin, but what enables us to remain faithful over time.

Every generation will face pressure, disappointment, uncertainty, and seasons of testing. The issue is not whether those moments will come, but what kind of foundation has been formed within us before they arrive.

The goal is not merely to survive difficult seasons, but to remain in deep communion with the Father through all of them.

Ontem foi um dia muito especial para nós. Há 7 anos atrás, nesse mesmo lugar, obedecendo a direção do Senhor para nós, passamos o bastão da liderança da fhop church para o Vini e a Emi.

E neste domingo, no mesmo ambiente, vivemos algo precioso. Essa igreja, que tem o nosso coração, orou por nós e nos enviou para esta nova estação na África do Sul.

Yesterday was a very special day for us.

Seven years ago, in this very place, as we followed the Lord’s direction for our lives, we passed the leadership of fhop Church to Vini and Emi.

And this Sunday, in that same room, we experienced something precious. This church, which holds such a special place in our hearts, prayed for us and sent us into this new season in South Africa.
