Yet another tutor!
Seth Hower is a sophomore at Calvary this year. He is majoring in Pastoral ministries and getting his master’s degree in divinity. Seth plays basketball here at Calvary as well as being a part of the Nikao Leadership Institute. He may appear to be big, ugly, and mean, but deep-down Seth is just a loving teddy bear who has a heart to serve those around him in any way he can. One fun fact about him is that he always has a quote from a TV show or movie to respond to you with.

Meet Clark!
He may seem prickly, but underneath, he has the capacity to store large amounts of knowledge—and water. He is quite sharp and loves to help out where he can. In fact, he stuck around in the CAC all summer and was our point-man for summer classes.
Clark is an experienced globe-trotter and scientist. He’s a founding member of Mensa, a Nobel Prize laureate, and was the first cactus in space.
His favorite quote: “I prefer the cactus, for the simple reason that it has a more interesting personality.” —Charles Proteus Steinmetz

We also have one old tutor!
Amanda Harman is a senior English Literature and creative writing student who has been in the CAC for three years now. Wow! Such a long time, and she absolutely loves it.
She also works as the English department assistant, doing the important task of creating a Poetree outside Mr. Crank’s office.
In her free time, Amanda loves buying books (and occasionally reading them), food, and getting unhealthily obsessed with movies and TV shows. She is also somewhat proficient in the art of stilt-walking and is constantly trying to refine her British accent.

We have new tutors!
Lindee Wentworth is a junior here at Calvary University. She is studying Elementary Education with a minor in TESOL. Lindee is an RDL, plays volleyball for Calvary, and is part of the Missions Outreach Student Team. She enjoys identifying plants, swinging at the park, and eating copious amounts of mac and cheese. Lindee’s favorite part of working at the CAC is seeing students transition into better writers as they apply their learning.
Favorite Movie Quote: “A llama? He’s supposed to be dead!”

We have new tutors!
Abigail Tschetter is a senior Secondary English Education major and Theatre Arts minor. She is a big nerd who is unusually passionate about a lot of things, especially literature, art, and education. As such, she loves working with students in the CAC and helping them learn and improve. She is proficient in analyzing things, guiding tours, and navigating the information superhighway that is the World Wide Web. Fun fact about her: she actually originated the phrase “Two shakes of a lamb’s tail”!
