Our Chapter raised $1,100 for of Kansas City during our Wine Blending Event!!!
🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉
After utilizing matching and grant programs through employers, we were able to more than double the original money raised from the event. This was our first philanthropic endeavor and our first donation as a Chapter.
Thank you to everyone that supported this event. We look forward to future events where we may continue raising money to help children in our community.

A wonderful event last night for our first Wine Blending Experience at Amigoni Urban Winery. 25 Delta Chi's and Guests attended and competed as teams. The winning team was the Jim and Jake Wilcher family with their blend, "Just Merlot With It." The runner up was "Martlet" by John Hess, Michael Herrin and their wives. Almost everyone left with something from the raffle and we raised $485 for Big Brothers Big Sisters of Kansas City (we will round to $500 from the Treasury). Thank you to those who attended, donated prizes, and purchased raffle tickets. We look forward to making this an even bigger event next year (and ensure it doesn't land on other local Chapters' Homecoming dates)!
Members in attendance: Forest Pavel, Jeffrey Adams, Craig Rupp, Evan Follmer, Trenton Traughber, Andrew Vogliardo, Randy Seever, Jake Wilcher, James Wilcher, John Hess, Michael Herrin, and their guests
Special Thanks to: Alec Lee and Chris Moore

Excited that we had a quick Executive Board meeting to get our next events lined up and figure out potential roles for a new E Board. Meeting Minutes will soon go out to our paid members. We are expecting a Happy Hour in August, potentially a winery tour and tasting where we may also invite our significant others in October, and reattempting the J. Reiger Distillery Tour in January. Also working on a World Cup Watch Party for the Spring. Stay tuned, Kansas City Area Alumni! Evan Follmer Andrew Vogliardo Michael Herrin
