The American College of Zoological Medicine (ACZM) is soliciting nominations for its Student Manuscript Award. To acknowledge the four ACZM’s Recognized Veterinary Specialties (RVS), this award will recognize up to four outstanding papers - one per specialty, highlighting how each RVS contributes to the mission of the ACZM.
Manuscripts must be published in the peer-reviewed scientific literature in calendar year 2025 and resulted from research conducted by veterinarians engaged in a post-graduate training program (internship, residency, fellowship, Master’s or PhD degree) under the tutelage of an ACZM diplomate. The four recipients will be awarded a plaque and up to $1,500, and the recipients’ mentors will receive an award certificate. The recipients will be announced and awarded at the ACZM’s business meeting in Fall of 2026.
An ACZM diplomate or honorary ACZM member, who served as the nominee’s mentor, may nominate several nominees but only one manuscript per nominee may be submitted. Nominations are due by September 1, 2026.
