In 1971, Presidents’ Day moved in an effort to create more three-day weekends with hope it would lead to greater productivity. With the restorative effects of the winter holidays fading, people need another break.

❤️Happy Valentine's Day!❤️ How are you celebrating? My husband and I have rescheduled our Valentine's Day date twice so hopefully 3rd time's the charm (food poisoning & waiting for the washing machine repairman). We like to make a day out of it and celebrate over the weekend by doing a progressive dinner (apps, dinner, and dessert at 3 different restaurants).

Happy Groundhog Day! Do you think Punxsutawney Phil will see his shadow this morning? I'm eager to find out whether we have an early spring. To be honest... I'm guessing we'll have another 6 weeks of winter though, this winter has been warmer than usual.

Happy Wednesday! It's been rather cold lately which means more time indoors... I always get cabin fever this time of year. ❄️ Luckily, I've had several fun events with friends lately and even met some new ones. Close knit relationships refill my bucket and bring me joy. 🌈 I hope to be a rainbow for others during this cold, dreary time of year.
