Format: Open Section, Swiss pairings, open to ALL players. We may split into two sections for competitive games depending on turnout.

Rounds & Time Control: 4 rounds, G/25 d5. Round One starts at 11:00 AM, with a 10-minute break between rounds.

Entry Fee:
$25 online through Friday, August 21 at noon
$35 onsite: register by 10:30 AM

Who can play: All K-12 students. Players are grouped by grade and rating, so everyone gets fair matchups.
Entry: $30 per player if registered by Wednesday, August 27th. $35 onsite.
Awards: Trophies and medals.
This event is CXR rated, so a current Chess Express membership is required. Memberships are $9 per year.
