Shout out to North Kansas City Schools and Instructional Coach Ms. Manchion and her Aspire teammates! Together they planned a review of Standards-Based Grading and its impact at their recent PD training. To support understanding, they implemented the morpheme/syllable card sort of vocabulary words. This process had 100% engagement during building PD and resulted in a mirror of this work in classrooms.
Aspire is creating a positive impact in NKCSD and in the KC area!

KC-RPDC Consultants Bailey, Denise, and Kent supported the 1st Missouri Statewide Job Olympics in Columbia, MO today.
Bailey judged vacuuming skills, Denise judged cash drawer work, and Kent "unstocked" shelves between student participants.
It was great to see so many Kansas City Area schools at the event. Lots of great ideas on how to turn this into future PD sessions!
