As excitement builds for today's kickoff, our students are getting into the spirit by sharpening their soccer skills, designing their own team kits and even building their own stadiums. Through creativity, teamwork and play, they're celebrating the world's biggest sporting event while learning about the global community it brings together.
We're thrilled for Kansas City to welcome visitors from around the world and can't wait to be part of the energy and excitement the World Cup will bring to our city. Let the games begin!

Our annual Third Grade Market Day was a wonderful celebration of creativity, collaboration and entrepreneurial spirit!
After months of research, brainstorming and product development, our third grade students brought their ideas to life and opened for business in the Wornall Courtyard. From designing and creating their products to marketing them and practicing strong customer service skills, students experienced every step of running their own small business.
Market Day is a hands-on learning journey that builds confidence, teamwork and real-world skills. We are so proud of the hard work and dedication our students demonstrated throughout this experiential learning opportunity.
Even more inspiring? All funds raised will be donated to a local non-profit, showing that our students’ entrepreneurial efforts are rooted in generosity and community impact.
