๐ Mrs. Johnson joins us as our Adventure Care Coordinator. With a diverse background in childcare and administration, she enjoys gardening, music, volleyball, and making memories with her husband, two children, and playful puppy, Lily.
โค๏ธ Mrs. Moreno joins our Educational Services team. With master's-level training in Special Education and decades of experience, she treasures family time and enjoys baking, gardening, card games, and football season.
๐ Mrs. Marklewitz joins our Early Childhood Center as a lead teacher. She holds both bachelor's and master's degrees in Early Childhood Education and loves spending time outdoors with her husband, NCS Athletic Director Daniel Marklewitz, and their two boys.

Today we recognize members of the girls soccer program who received postseason recognition. Highlighting the group was senior Macy Doss, who was chosen the MSHSAA Class 1 Region 4 Defensive Player of the Year. Congratulations to all of our award winners!

Our spring sports student-athletes were recently recognized for their achievements in 2026. Today we recognize the six members of our boys volleyball team who were named to the Class 1 All-District team: Elias Clooten, Ben Edwards, Kellan Frazier, John Huth, Charlie Ricker and Cole Wheeler.
Two individuals were also recognized on the state level. Ben Edwards was named to the Class 1 all-state First Team, while assistant coach Brad Scarbrough was chosen the Class 1 Assistant Coach of the Year. Stay tuned for more awards lists over the next few days. Great job Blazers!

๐ Mr. Combs joins us as our High School Bible Teacher. A Missouri Baptist University graduate, he enjoys traveling, golfing, and sharing his enthusiasm for cars.
๐ Miss DeWitt (soon to be Mrs. Mohn!) joins us as a 2nd Grade Teacher. She holds degrees from Cornerstone University and Grand Valley State University and enjoys reading, cooking, and spending time outdoors kayaking, hiking, and biking.
๐๏ธ Mr. Edmondson joins our Junior High team as a History Teacher. He earned both his History Education degree and Master's in Educational Leadership from Pensacola Christian College and enjoys golfing and fishing in his free time.

๐ Welcome to the NCS family!
๐๏ธ Mrs. Baldi joins us as our Junior High Art Teacher! A Missouri Western graduate with five years of teaching experience, she loves drawing, crocheting, traveling with her husband, and believes the beach is her natural habitat.
๐ Mrs. Bates joins our High School team as a Math Teacher. She holds degrees from the University of Central Missouri and Webster University and enjoys family adventures, beach vacations, coffee, and serving alongside her family at Life Church.
๐งธMrs. Cole will serve as an Early Childhood Center Aide. A Northwest Missouri State graduate and mother of three NCS students, she loves family adventures, movie nights, and trying new restaurants.

Did you know our mascotโs name has a special meaning? โจ
Mallux was chosen as the Senior Class Gift by the Class of 2016. The name was created to symbolize a โhouse of light,โ reflecting our calling to shine for Christ wherever we go.
Mallux serves as a reminder of Matthew 5:14: "You are the light of the world. A city set on a hill cannot be hidden."
