The information below will provide specific details for the Pick Up and Return Process
-Only guardians on the student’s contact list will be allowed to pick up student supplies from Bridger. ID will be required.
-Please have any items being returned to Bridger (this may include library books, text books, Chromebook, etc.) readily available prior to arriving at Bridger.
-Please place a paper/sign on your dash/front window with your students first/last name and Team color to help us streamline the process.
-Please enter Bridger from 78 Highway (Main Entrance) and proceed to the back of the building toward the pool entrance.
-As you arrive, you will stop at our Check-In and one of our staff members will greet you and retrieve any items being returned to Bridger. If you would like, you may also purchase a yearbook at this time if you have not already done so. Yearbooks are $30 and payment can only be received in the form of a cash payment.
-If you are returning a Chromebook, our staff member will complete a form ensuring both the Chromebook and charger have been returned and no damage has occurred to the Chromebook. This will need to be signed by the adult. If the charger is not returned or if there is damage to the Chromebook, this will be noted on the form. Fees will be added to your student’s My School Bucks account and will become an obligation.
-Following your check-in, you will be directed to an assigned parking spot and a staff member will bring your student’s items to your vehicle.
-At this time, you may leave by exiting onto Speck Road.
The following is general information in regards to Pick Up and Return Process:
-You will receive an email from Destiny Library System if your student has books that need to be returned to school. This is a reminder of what needs to be returned and not an amount owed, unless the items are not returned.
-As indicated in the District flyer, families with multiple students should attempt to come during a pick-up window of the oldest student. If you have students at more than one school building, please go to each school during that oldest students’ time window or during one of the make-up times offered each day, whichever works best for you. You will need to go to each students’ school to collect his/her items.
-You will receive an email from Destiny Library System if your student has books that need to be returned to school. This is a reminder of what needs to be returned and not an amount owed, -unless the items are not returned.
We want to thank you for your patience and flexibility in this process. We also want to thank you for all the support you have given to Bridger and the Independence School District during this unusual time. We have missed our students so much over the past few months and are looking forward to having students back with us in the near future! We wish you all the best! Stay safe and healthy!
