CTA Dues - Make sure to say YES!
CTA stands for Community Teacher Association, otherwise known as your local (NKC) chapter of MSTA. Our Community Teacher Association (CTA) is here to support, connect, and advocate for you. It’s NOT just for teachers, we are here for ANY school district employee.
So what do your local CTA dues actually do?
✔️ Fund classroom mini grants and student scholarships
✔️ Provide teacher appreciation and member events
✔️ Support leadership development and conferences
✔️ Give our educators a voice at the state level
✔️ Help us grow a strong, local network of educators
Every dollar goes back into supporting educators and students in our community. Join us and be part of something local, supportive, and impactful. Because your voice—and your choice—matters.

CTA (local) dues help pay for activities like last night’s banquet, booths at convocation, teacher appreciation gifts, and NKC MSTA education foundation scholarships.

Good afternoon!
Our annual Spring Banquet for our CTA members (who paid their $26 CTA dues) is at Paul and Jacks on April 30th from 5:00-7:00PM.

We will also be conducting a business meeting and we need more involvement from our membership! If you are interested in joining the board, please send an email to [email protected]. There is a place and a job for everyone that wants to be involved.
Parking can be difficult down there in Northtown. Make plans to carpool with someone if you can!
If you are NOT a CTA member, you are free to join us for the business meeting, but the CTA is extend the dinner to those who haven't paid the CTA dues of $26. You can join the CTA at any time though!
