Summer learning begins Monday, June 1!

KCKPS students will have the opportunity to continue learning, growing, and exploring all summer long through engaging academic and enrichment experiences. We are excited to welcome students back for a summer filled with learning, connection, and fun as we continue working to support success beyond the school year.

Mrs. Collette Chaney, as we celebrated you yesterday, on Thursday, May 21, 2026, and as you begin this new chapter of retirement, we want to thank you for your leadership, dedication, and the care you have shown to our students, staff, and families throughout the years. Your hard work, encouragement, and commitment have made a lasting impact on our school community.

You have led with strength, compassion, and a genuine heart for others. Because of you, so many people felt seen, supported, and inspired to do their best. Your presence will truly be missed, but your legacy will continue to live on in the lives you touched each day. Thank you for everything you have done. You will always be appreciated and never forgotten.

Yesterday our 5th graders celebrated their promotion with a special awards celebration at Dave & Buster’s 🎉 We are so proud of all their hard work and accomplishments and can’t wait to see all they do next!

Today our students celebrated their Fall to Spring FastBridge growth with a foam party and DJ fun 🎉 We are so proud of all the hard work and growth our students have shown this year!
