We all have different backgrounds, interests, and talents. But we also share many traits, such as a passion for learning, an interest in technology, and deep enthusiasm. FIRST Robotics brings many such students from all grades together as one close-knit team: the Kuh-nig-its. Build Season Week 1 ✅

This week our students have been busy constructing, decorating and modifying ride-on toy cars for this weekend's GoBabyGo event. GoBabyGo is an annual event where our team partners Variety KC to help create ride-on toy cars for local disabled kids. Several FRC teams will come to Barstow's IDEA Space this Saturday, November 8th, to participate in the event, and we certainly can't wait!

We continued with our numerous off season projects this week as we gear up for the our upcoming GoBabyGo event and the 2026 FIRST robotics seasons.
Students this week prepared for GoBabyGo, an annual event that we will host this year on November 8th at Barstow's IDEA Space. We partner with VarietyKC and many other FRC teams in the Kansas City area to build and modify ride-on toy cars for children with physical impairments. We've been working on CAD modifications for the cars and can't wait for the event day!

Students this week also worked on prototyping various parts of a robot, including an intake, a shooter, and a hopper. We're learning everyday and bettering ourselves for the season!

First week of our brand new middle school FTC team!

They have started off prototyping robot ideas and working on building all of their field elements. We can't wait to continue mentoring and watch them all grow as great engineers and leaders! Make sure to keep up with their progress throughout their seasons.
