Check out the report on KSHB 41 on several restaurants being closed this past week! I don't know why it wouldn't let me repost the story but point is its a problem and we aren't the only ones being affected by it.

Update! KC Donated about $450 to the efforts of keeping us open. We truly appreciate all donations and grateful for the support we have received over the years! All CashApp Donations have been ReFunded back to our wonderful supporters. The amount collected by the community was Not sufficient in keeping Kaleidoscoops KCK Open. By the Grace of Higher Power and Sacrifices of Close Family members we were able to pay our dues to Avoid further actions. We will regain access to the building and our property at some point next week at which time we will reopen for a few days to liquidate remaining products. At this point we will not be selling any of our equipment to the Public but we will provide a chance to get a taste of your favorite Ice cream until sold out! Keep in mind flavors and products will be limited and while supplies last as we will not be restocking.
Thank you for this opportunity to provide a Great Experience to Wyandotte a place where Ms.April was born and raised. I saw a need for the families and children of the community and did my best to provide a place of kindness, inclusion, and hope for all. I always said I never opened Kaleidoscoops KCK to get rich but also cannot continue to put myself or my children in a position to loose everything. This was a very educational, humbling journey that I will carry with me for the rest of my life. The biggest lessons taken away were be and stay educated in all aspects of business if that is your choosen path. Politics and Gentrification is Real. Strangers Will Support and Love you. Don't let hard times damper your faith or passion. Always keep putting one foot in front of the other no matter how long/hard your path or journey may be. You never know who you are inspiring and lastly always be kind you never know what people are going through or sacrificing.✨️ Stay on the Look Out For Open Dates and Hours Next Week.
Thank You again Kansas City for embracing and supporting us for almost 4years. Our memories will last a lifetime.
