We are still smiling over these sweet moments from our Chick Pics Fundraiser. Watching children slow down, hold something so tiny and delicate, and completely light up with wonder was such a special experience.

A huge thank you to our photography partner, Fain & Facet (), for beautifully capturing these memories and helping support World Builders Academy through this fundraiser.

Thank you as well to all the families who participated and helped make this event such a success. We loved seeing everyone’s spring outfits, gentle hands, and joyful interactions with our chick friends 💛

We are raising problems solvers!
It is important for adults not to jump up in too soon.
Our friends got a toy stuck. Instead of jumping right into solve their problems we stay close and ask questions.
Mrs.Pan - “What’s the matter? “
Child -“ it’s stuck. I can’t get it out.”
Mrs. Pan -“ oh I see friends trying to help.”
Child - “ it’s too heavy!”
Mrs.Pan - “Look at where it’s stuck. Can you figure out how to get it out?” “ let’s stop and think think think let’s look carefully.”

This natural learning exercise, teaches thoughtfulness, teamwork, and sequence of action.
And when the problem is solved, what a golden opportunity capture, some proud smiles!

Children - “We did it.”

We’re excited to see the Reggio Emilia Approach receiving international attention through The Princess of Wales’ recent visit to Reggio Emilia, Italy.

Her visit brought attention to something we deeply believe at World Builders Academy: children learn best through curiosity, connection, creativity, nature, and meaningful relationships with their community.

The Reggio Emilia philosophy continues to influence how we approach early childhood education through child-led exploration, hands-on learning, collaboration, and respect for children as capable thinkers.

We especially loved the emphasis on “nature as the third teacher” and learning through shared experiences across generations.
