Ministry can be filled with unique joys, questions, and challenges. The MBTS Seminary Wives Cohort provides a place to learn from experienced ministry wives, build lasting friendships, and gain wisdom for the road ahead. Through twice-monthly gatherings, participants are encouraged in their walk with Christ and prepared for faithful service alongside their husbands.

"The Seminary Wives Cohort at Midwestern was a great blessing to me. In a season where I am raising young kids and my husband recently accepted an associate pastor position at our church, it proved to be relatable and applicable many times.
From topics such as raising children that will be the 'pastor's kid' and how to best support your husband in ministry, the wisdom offered by Mrs. Edie Ross, Mrs. Julie Chipman, and Mrs. Karen Allen was invaluable. We have a unique calling as a pastor's wife, and these ladies were able to dissect complex feelings, blessings, and burdens that come with it.
I will take the lessons I learned from this cohort with me the rest of my life!"

As a seminary wife, you are preparing for ministry too. The MBTS Seminary Wives Cohort is designed to connect, encourage, and equip wives of seminary students through mentorship, biblical encouragement, and meaningful community. Led by Mrs. Karen Allen and experienced ministry wives, this cohort meets twice monthly throughout the academic year and is limited to just 12 women.

"The Seminary Wives Cohort was a great place for camaraderie in this era of life where we're all preparing to be sent out into ministry in one way or another. It gave me practical ideas on ways to honor the Lord as a wife, mom, and church member. It was great to hear from faithful pastors' wives who have lived experience and were ready to answer all of our hard questions.
One of my most useful takeaways was hearing Mrs. Julie Chipman share the daily Scripture passages she reads to remind herself of her biblical role and priorities as a Christian, wife, mother, and church member.
We lived off campus through my husband's time in seminary, so this was a wonderful opportunity to connect with other women in this unique season of life and make sweet friends. I am so grateful!"
