Proposed Projects — Kansas City School Bond 02/21/2025

The Bond vote is April 8. AC Prep itself would receive $15.9 million.

How would the Bond impact AC Prep?

Every KCPS school will receive funds to address its most critical facility needs addressing:

*Deferred Maintenance: life safety, HVAC, electrical, roofs, windows, bathroom, plumbing

*Improved Learning Environment: collaboration spaces, STEAM labs, instrumental music spaces, gym and athletic facilities, outdoor classrooms/outdoor play areas, secure entry points.

For AC Prep, this would mean:

*the school receiving $15.9 million.
*relocation of AC Prep Lower to the former Paige Elementary site on East 75th Street, which will undergo major renovations to building systems & classrooms.
