ME Pearson Library K-5 Elementary Library and Technology Center in Kansas City, KS During the week our library has scheduled classes for all students in our school.

We have an amazing group of students, parents, staff and community members at ME Pearson Elementary School. Lessons vary everyday; everything from learning about authors and reading favorite books to creating videos and using the internet for class projects. Our community involvement makes us unique from other school libraries. Two Saturdays a semester we open our doors to all of our students, fam

ilies, and community members. We provide access to books for reading and check-out, storytelling, iPads, play stations, and more on these days.

Dear KCKPS Families,

After continued monitoring of power restoration and district operations following last night’s severe storms, all KCKPS schools will be closed tomorrow, Thursday, August 20.

While power has been restored to some of our buildings, ongoing storm-related outages are impacting critical district operations, including transportation services.

These impacts prevent us from safely and reliably transporting students and operating schools across the district.

We will continue to provide updates as conditions change and information becomes available.
