Are you looking for a creative outlet while at home? Coming up in early June is Watercolor Illustration with instructor Sharon Hunter Putsch. This course is taught live through Google Hangouts and is a great way for adult students to find a therapeutic outlet. Over four weeks, students will learn from lectures, group discussions and one on one feedback tailored to your needs. A limited number of seats are still available at www.kcai.edu/artforeveryone

Starting next week, adult students in People and Portrait Photography with instructor Barrett Emke will spend six weeks learning the art of candid street photography. Working remotely, students will connect during live class sessions held once weekly. Interested students can visit www.kcai.edu/artforeveryone for additional details. This course is one of many adult remote course options as a part of our ‘Art For Everyone, Even at Home’ series.

Miles Young is a Kansas City artist, born and raised. They enjoy painting and working with their hands.

Their goal when teaching is to create a classroom environment that is as active as it is challenging. They take pride in responding to individual class dynamics and students, working with each student individually to create a curriculum that is as different as each of them. Even though presenting challenges for students is one of their goals, integrating fun, new ways of learning is their top priority.
