For those who have reached out to ask how you can help, consider giving to the KCAI Cares fund.

Details on how you can be involved by providing a donation are included below.

Several KCAI students have lost their employment during this time and many families are experiencing hardship. In this time of uncertainty, it’s comforting to know that KCAI is part of a supportive and generous community. For those who have reached out and asked how you can help, consider giving to the KCAI Cares fund that will directly support students that are experiencing financial hardships through individual grants.

INSTRUCTOR SPOTLIGHT | MILES YOUNG
https://milesofhell.wixsite.com/milesyoung/work

Miles Young is a Kansas City artist, born and raised. They enjoy painting and working with their hands.

Their goal when teaching is to create a classroom environment that is as active as it is challenging. They take pride in responding to individual class dynamics and students, working with each student individually to create a curriculum that is as different as each of them. Even though presenting challenges for students is one of their goals, integrating fun, new ways of learning is their top priority.

What students are saying about taking courses with Miles:
"I enjoyed taking Color Theory with Miles Young. They are a delightful teacher, one who was able to adapt their lessons to the ability and interests of each of the students. They were also very supportive of me despite my own insecurities about drawing." - Color Theory Student, Fall 2019
