We are excited to be partnered with an organization that is truly committed to racial justice and equality in KC's area schools. The Parent Leadership Training Institute (PLTI) is now accepting applications for their 2026–27 cohort!
PLTI is a 21-week leadership and civics course designed to equip parents and caregivers with the tools, skills, and confidence to become effective advocates for children and families. Whether you're passionate about education, healthcare, housing, or justice—this program helps you turn your passion into purpose.

Community Engagement Opportunity for All Parents and Guardians!
The National School Choice Awareness Foundation (NSCAF) is an organization serving parents and this May 14 at 7:00 pm EST they are hosting our second virtual parent chat, “Navigating School Choice Together: Parent Chat.” Parents who attend are able to ask questions, receive personalized support, and learn about different education topics.
The May parent chat focuses on alternative education options including homeschooling, online learning, and microschooling, the difference between hybrid and online learning, and how students can benefit from alternative schedules.
