Can yall believe it! Doors opened 10 years ago on a Monday, August 1st. It was bare bones with a handful of members who signed on to be part of The Cherry Pit Collective. Director Kelsey Pike had quite a community come to support this endeavor. Huge shout out to Kelsey's dad, Tony. He built walls, anchors, and made it feel like home. Many thank yous to all the artists who made cherry pit their safe space throughout the years. Thank you Kansas City.

Spend a couple of minutes with to hear a little bit about our Open Studios for First Friday weekend (June 5-7). Many members will be coming by to work in studio and show off their processes, tools, and work (with some for purchase as well)! Come by, hang out, and learn more about our amazing members!

🔨 Leather Harness Workshop Alert!! ⛓️
Wednesday May 13th // 6-8pm

This class will teach you how to make your very own custom leather infinity harness in just a few simple steps.

You'll be able to wear this super cute piece over or under clothing whether you are going out to the club or to the grocery store. And the tighter you wear it the more pulled back your shoulders become for correct posture.

Beginner Level- Skills learned: strap cutting and measuring, setting rivets, measuring custom to size, hardware attachment, and leather conditioning.

(Warning: In this class we will be using hammers and sharp knives. Be prepared to be in a loud environment. Ear plugs are suggested for those who may be sensitive to such things.) Taught by Faye (They/Them)
