This landmark collection, documenting years of grassroots organizing for fair wages and labor rights, will be permanently housed in UMKC LaBudde Special Collections & University Archives. Join our friends at UMKC Libraries' Digital Scholarship Services & Center for Digital and Public Humanities for a drop-in Wikipedia Edit-a-Thon, March 17th from 11AM-3PM in Miller Nichols Library Room 325. Digital Scholarship Fellow Katie Antrainer will host an optional Wikipedia training on March 10 at 11AM in Miller Nichols Library's Digital Collaboration Studio Room 312. The training will be recorded and made available to view.

Did you know that there are about 400,000 biographic articles about women on Wikipedia, and about four times that about men? Participants can edit Wikipedia articles about notable Kansas City women to help close the gender gap on Wikipedia.
