Thank you to Judge Lisa Hardwick, Steven Ramsey, and Candice Johnson for sharing a bit of their time, experiences, and wisdom with BLSA and the Oliver Club this evening. It was truly a pleasure to learn from phenomenal black attorneys serving the Kansas City and broader communities about how they prioritize mental health and wellbeing in the legal profession.
As these topics are very relevant to law students in our current climate, please enjoy the recording of our Mental Health in the Current Climate Zoom panel from Thursday, September 24, 2020 at 4:00 PM.
Regards,
BLSA Board

Part 1: Juneteenth
Happy Juneteenth everyone!
What a historical day it is! In order to commemorate this day a couple of BLSA members engaged in a panel to answer questions and discuss topics like Juneteenth and the history behind it, what it’s like being black in law school, and current events that are impacting the world today!
We hope you enjoy it, and I’m sure you will learn something new!
