We found out earlier today that the registration for our June 13 event had closed yesterday on the Ticketspice registration page. This was not our intent. I remember singing this song in church camp as a young girl. We would start slow and then get faster and faster. I really had no idea the origins of this song until I found it looking for Dutch folk music. Apparently this is an old Dutch spinning song. Sung with nonsensical words to imitate the sound of spinning yarn. This is our piece representing The Netherlands!
