Congratulations to Max Buerge '27 who has committed to continuing his academic and athletic career at Quincy University!

Max was a do-it-all player on Rockhurst Lacrosse's stout defense in the 2026 season. The Hawklets allowed just 4.0 goals per game while going 12-1 in LAKC matchups. In 13 games played in his junior season, Max tallied 17 ground balls and seven takeaways; he also scored a goal and had two assists.

Max will be a key returner for the Lacrosse Hawklets in 2027 as The Rock looks to take back the title of LAKC Champions.

Way to go, Max - Rock State! AMDG

The Hawklets ended with a record of 26-17, winning a District Championship and just the third State trophy in program history with a 4th Place finish!

This trio of juniors at the top of the lineup combined for 123 hits, 74 RBIs, 93 runs, and 60 stolen bases.
