The EOC-Kansas City has been providing services to low-income & first generation residents since 1979. EOC/KC is a TRIO program funded 100% by the U.S.

Annually, the EOC assist over 2500 participants with their postsecondary pursuits. Department of Education ($460,406) administered by the Metropolitan Community College.

Adult learner scholarship opportunity for residents of the KC Metro - Deadline date: March 31, 2026. Good luck!!

The ASIST Scholarship is a non-discriminatory, educational scholarship program for the benefit of nontraditional students pursuing an associates, bachelor or master’s degree, or a technical/professional certification. These include persons who are:

Past high school age and who are entering a college, university, or trade school and/or the workforce for the first time
Non-traditional students already enrolled in a college, university, or trade school program
Re-training due to changes in the workplace.
