Today’s professional learning was truly meaningful. Staff engaged in a deep dive on iReady, collaborated around PLC’s, lesson planning and data cycles, and reflected on belonging with guidance from our equity champions. Grateful for a team committed to continuous improvement and student-centered work.

A beautiful first day back at ACCPA. Staff learned about ACCPA priorities for the 2026-2027 school year, grounded in honoring our history while moving boldly into the future. We revisited the roots of African‑Centered Education in Kansas City and came together in Harambee to strengthen our collective purpose.

Today was a wonderful day at ACCPA as we welcomed six new teachers into the building. They experienced a powerful introduction to African‑centered history with Dr. Kheper Ra, toured the campus, connected with a few staff members, and began preparing their classrooms. We are excited to have them join the African‑centered experience and our vibrant community.

Just two days left for New and Annual Enrollment!

Students must be fully enrolled by July 31 to have guaranteed transportation before Labor Day and keep their signature school seat.
