Are you a family in need of essential food items? If so, come join us this Saturday, August 15th from 10:00 to 11:30 a.m. Our KCPS Partner, The Church of the Resurrection, will bring their Mobile Food Pantry onsite! This is a NO COST event. You can shop for fresh produce, proteins, dairy and nonperishables, WHILE SUPPLIES LAST.

Saturday, Saturday, August 15th, at Woodland Early Learning Center, the Church of the Resurrection will distribute food items to families in need. Join us from 10:00 to 11:30 a.m. at 711 Woodland Avenue, KCMO 64106.

Thank you Access KC () and Dr Boucher ( Eye Care) for bringing See to Succeed to KCPS Woodland Head Start! This program provides free eye exams and glasses to students supporting both their health and academic success. Dr Boucher saw 30 kiddos and delivered eyeglasses right to our site! We are proud to partner with AccessKC and look forward to supporting more students next year.

Did you say FREE Car Seats? We sure did! On May 12th at 8:30 am, Woodland Head Start families are invited to participate in a Parent Cafe' on Car Seat Safety and Installation. You MUST attend the full Parent Cafe' in order to receive a free car seat. If you have questions, please reach out to your Family Advocate.

Tomorrow is the day! Join us for our annual Project Fair at Woodland Early Learning Head Start Center. The fun starts at 8:30 AM. Your children are excited to show you what they have been learning.
