SLOW by Elise Gagliardi is up and available for viewing Monday-Thursday 10-3 or by appointment. Closing Reception 9/24 6-9pm Slow is an exhibition where artist Elise Gagliardi uses photography to reflect on time, ritual, and family life.
Her sharply detailed large-scale images invite the viewer to slow down and connect narratives of life’s
simple moments.
She presents us with quiet images of garden bouquets with blurred gestures- a cup of tea- sitting by the
fire- or digging in the sand. She employs traditional candid black and white photos to further quiet each
image giving a mystery of time and space with a compositional emphasis on figure and form.
